Statement of Faith

1: THE SCRIPTURES
I believe (1 Thessalonians 2:13) the inspired scriptures (2 Timothy 3:16, 2 Peter 1:21), composed of all 66 books (Psalm 40:7) contained in the King James Bible (KJB) (Isaiah 34:16) represent the whole counsel of the Most High to man, even the words of God (Psalm 107:11, John 10:35). I believe the KJB is God’s pure, and preserved word (Psalm 12:6-7). It is truth (John 17:17, 2 Timothy 2:15) and stands higher than God’s own name (Psalm 138:2). All Bible translations in the English language, translated after the King James Bible are man’s attempt to tear down and rebuild something that God has built Himself (Psalm 127:1, 1 Kings 6:37-38), and therefore, stand as the brittle words of men (Jeremiah 23:31,36), and are not like a fire, nor like a hammer (Jeremiah 23:29), nor are they anywhere close to the living sword of God (Hebrews 4:12, Ephesians 6:17).

2: THE GODHEAD
I believe in one triune God (Deuteronomy 6:4, 1 John 5:7), eternally existing in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost (Matthew 3:16-17, Matthew 28:19, John 14:26).

3: THE PERSON OF JESUS CHRIST
~2,000 years ago, the eternal Son of God, whose goings forth is from everlasting (Micah 5:2), even the Word that created all things (John 1:1,3), became flesh (a man) (John 1:14), without ceasing to be God (John 3:13, Hebrews 1:8), having been conceived by the Holy Spirit of God (Luke 1:35) and born of the virgin Mary (Isaiah 7:14, Matthew 1:23), in order that He might reveal God and redeem sinful men (Galatians 4:4-5) with His own blood (Colossians 1:14) by dying on the cross as the Lamb of God (Philippians 2:5-8, John 1:36) and being raised up from the dead on the third day (1 Corinthians 15:4). The Lord Jesus Christ ascended bodily to Heaven (Acts 1:9), and is now exalted at the right hand of God (Hebrews 1:3), where, as our High Priest (Hebrews 8:1), He fulfills the ministry of Representative (Hebrews 9:24), Intercessor (Hebrews 7:25, Romans 8:34), and Advocate (1 John 2:1)

4: DEPRAVITY OF MAN
I believe man was originally created in the image and likeness of God (Genesis 1:26-27), but that in Adam’s sin (Romans 5:12), all mankind inherits a sinful nature and falls short of God’s glory (Romans 3:23). Because of sin, man is a child of wrath (Ephesians 2:1-3) and will eventually die (Romans 6:23) as one alienated from God (Ephesians 4:17-19) unless they have been born again, that is, born of the Spirit (John 3:5-8).

5: SALVATION
I believe that salvation cannot be earned by any measure of man’s ability, religion, alms, money or good deeds. Salvation is the gift of God (Ephesians 2:8-10) offered to sinful man by grace and is received (John 1:12)  by personal faith from your heart in the finished work of the Lord Jesus Christ (Romans 5:11, Hebrews 12:2), Whose precious blood was shed on the cross at Calvary for the forgiveness of sins (Ephesians 1:7, 1 Peter 1:18-19).

6: ETERNAL SECURITY
I believe that a new creature in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17) cannot lose eternal life (John 10:28). I believe Jesus Christ will not lose a single soul that is given to Him (John 6:39) and there are no examples of a Spirit born Christian being slain in the spirit, even when the Christian commits hideous sins such as fornication between family members (1 Corinthians 5:1-5). A man who is born again (1 John 5:1) receives the righteousness of Jesus Christ (Romans 4:24) and is sealed by the Holy Spirit until the day of redemption (Ephesians 1:13-14, Ephesians 4:30). Not to mention, a saved man is…
– Spiritually circumcised from the flesh (Colossians 2:11)
– Baptized into the body of Christ (Ephesians 4:4-5, Romans 6:3, 1 Corinthians 12:13)
– Seated together with Christ in heavenly places (Ephesians 2:6)
– A member of Jesus Christ’s body / bones / flesh (Ephesians 5:30, John 19:36)
– A child of God (Galatians 3:26)

7: THE ETERNAL STATE OF MAN
I believe in the bodily resurrection of all men (John 5:28-29), the saved to eternal life (John 11:25-26), and the unsaved to judgment and everlasting punishment (Revelation 20:12-13).

I believe that the souls of the redeemed are, at death, absent from the body and present with the Lord (2 Corinthians 5:8), conscious (Luke 23:43, Philippians 1:23) and awaiting the first resurrection (Revelation 20:4-6), when spirit, soul, and body are reunited to be glorified forever with the Lord (Philippians 3:21, 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17).

I believe that the souls of unbelievers remain, after death, in torment (Luke 16:19-26, Mark 9:43-48) until the second resurrection, when with soul and body reunited they shall appear at the Great White Throne Judgment, and shall be cast into the Lake of Fire, not to be annihilated, but to suffer everlasting, conscious punishment (Revelation 20:11-15).

END TIME PROPHECY: Premillennial, pre-tribulation rapture of the church, 3.5-year tribulation

SODOMY: Homosexuality, bestiality (and all perversions of God’s ordained union between man and woman) are abominations to God

ABORTION: A wicked sin that is hated by God

GAP-THEORY: I used to believe in this 100%. But now, I admit, I do not know for sure. Evolution is false. The gap is not a Biblical good way to explain evolution. The gap, rather, provides a good explanation as to when Lucifer fell and became Satan (between Genesis 1:1 and Genesis 1:2). The use of the word “replenish” in Genesis 1:28 makes another good case for this theory. However, Exodus 20:11 seems to suggest otherwise.

SPEAKING IN TONGUES: Actual languages that can be interpreted? Sure. Not gibberish and confusion

SEPARATION FROM THE WORLD: Absolutely. Lord, help me become more peculiar to it.

CALVINISM: No thanks

DISPENSATIONS: Yes, please

WHEN THE CHURCH BEGAN: Before Paul

OUR APOSTLE: Paul

HYPER-DISPENSATIONALISM: No thanks

THIS STATEMENT OF FAITH
This statement of faith is mere overview of what I believe in regards to essential Bible doctrines. The King James Bible itself is the sole and final source of all that I believe.
