And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory. 1 Timothy 3.16

This “mini” sermon on 1 Timothy 3.16 is intended for born again Christians.
In my heart, I’ve felt a call to make this type of video for a long time. I pray it edifies you also, and encourages you to draw closer to Christ.
To be clear, this video does not contain the original sermon from 1607. It is my own shortened version of it. You can read the original sermon from Volume 1 of Lancelot Andrewes’ sermons, or read it online here: https://anglicanhistory.org/lact/andrewes/v1/sermon3.html
Please note that translations such as the NIV, ESV, NASB, and NLT omit “God” from this verse (1 Timothy 3:16), which robs it of power and substance.
As somebody who once read from modern versions for a span of 5 years, I greatly encourage you to put them down and pick up a KJV. Ask God if the King James Bible contains his pure and preserved words. See how he answers you.
I encourage you to walk in the mystery of godliness, in the humility of Jesus Christ, who loved us, and gave himself for us.
Go where he has sent you, by faith, in meekness and love. If you’re not sure where he has sent you, ask:
…Lord, what wilt thou have me to do?… Acts 9.6
And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart. Jeremiah 29.13
Thank you Stephen (1611 Sound) for mixing and mastering the audio!
